Art Portfolio

Photoshop Experiment
For this project, I took a photo of myself in front of a green screen and then removed the background. I refined the edges of myself to make the green as invisible as possible. Then I found a high quality picture of people snowboarding in Colorado and added it in behind me.

Pop Art
Pop Art was made popular by an american artist named Andy Warhol (1928-1987) around the 1950's. The main idea of pop art is repetition, layers, use of gradient, contrast, filter effects, and movement. In this pop art i took three photos of myself and changed each one to look different than the original.

Faceswap
For this project, I took a photo of my favorite band U2. I used photoshop to change all of their faces to just the face of the lead singer, Bono. The real face is on the person standing in the very front. The rest of the faces are swapped out for his.

Horrible Advertisements
Not all advertisements make sense. We see commercials daily about things that are supposed to make our life better and we just end up thinking, "Why the heck would I buy that?" or, "What did that have to do with anything?". Well... this is one of those advertisements I made fun of. Click on it to see the text better.

What Sdvertisements Should Say
The recreation of the above advertisement...this time for CrappyCarpet! I don't think anybody would buy this if it said the truth.

Adobe Illustrator
This challenge was to take an original photograph of something and convert it into a Vector. A Vector is a 2D picture that is not a real photograph. The violin is practice and the hockey player was the one I chose to do as my challenge.

My S.C. Johnson stencil:
